Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 3 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1.5 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Yeast
  • 1.5 cups Warm water

Instructions: 

  • 1. In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, and yeast.
  • 2. Add warm water and stir until a shaggy dough forms.
  • 3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it sit at room temperature for 12-18 hours.
  • 4. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). Place your Dutch oven in the oven to preheat as well.
  • 5. Turn the dough out onto a well-floured surface and shape it into a ball.
  • 6. Carefully remove the Dutch oven from the oven and place the dough inside.
  • 7. Cover with the lid and bake for 30 minutes. Then remove the lid and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown.
  • 8. Remove the bread from the Dutch oven and let it cool on a wire rack before slicing.

Notes:

Make sure to let the dough rise for at least 12 hours for the best texture.
