Ingredients:  

Dough Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 teaspoons Active Dry Yeast
  • 1 1/2 cups Warm Water 110°F
  • 3 1/2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar

Instructions: 

  • 1. In a mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until it becomes frothy.
  • 2. Add flour, olive oil, salt, and sugar to the bowl. Mix until a dough forms.
  • 3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  • 4. Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  • 5. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). Punch down the dough and divide it into two portions. Roll out each portion to your desired thickness.
  • 6. Place the rolled-out dough on a baking sheet, add your favorite toppings, and bake for 10-12 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.

Notes:

For a crispier crust, bake the pizza on a preheated pizza stone.
