Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup refried beans
  • 2 cups shredded cheese Mexican blend
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup sliced black olives
  • 1 cup green onions chopped
  • 6 large flour tortillas

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  • Add the taco seasoning and water according to the packet instructions. Simmer until thickened.
  • In a baking dish, layer 2 tortillas, half of the refried beans, half of the seasoned beef, and a third of the cheese. Repeat the layers.
  • Top with the remaining tortillas, salsa, diced tomatoes, olives, and the rest of the cheese.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes:

Feel free to add jalapeños for an extra kick!
