Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 8 slices Bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 2 cups Bread Cubes day-old
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese shredded
  • 4 Eggs beaten
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1/4 cup Maple Syrup
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the bread cubes, crumbled bacon, and shredded cheese.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, maple syrup, salt, and pepper.
  • Pour the egg mixture over the bread mixture and stir until well combined.
  • Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
  • Bake for 45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the casserole is set.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes:

You can prepare this casserole the night before and bake it in the morning.
