Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
Add taco seasoning and salsa to the beef. Stir well and simmer for 5 minutes.
Transfer beef mixture to a baking dish. Spread sour cream over the top.
Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over the sour cream layer.
Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes. Top with chopped lettuce and diced tomatoes before serving.
Notes:
Feel free to add other toppings like avocado, jalapenos, or olives.
