Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 loaf Hawaiian bread cut into cubes
  • 8 eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a baking dish and place the cubed Hawaiian bread in it.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and salt.
  • Pour the egg mixture over the bread cubes, making sure all pieces are soaked.
  • Let it sit for about 10 minutes to absorb the custard.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the custard is set.
  • Let it cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!

Notes:

For a tropical twist, you can add pineapple chunks or shredded coconut to the mixture.
