Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 500 g Green Beans trimmed
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 400 g Tomatoes chopped
  • 60 ml Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent.
  • Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  • Add the chopped tomatoes, salt, and pepper. Cook for 10 minutes.
  • Add the green beans and mix well.
  • Transfer the mixture to a casserole dish and bake for 45 minutes.
  • Serve hot.

Notes:

This dish pairs well with crusty bread.
