Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
Add taco seasoning and water according to package instructions. Simmer until thickened.
In a baking dish, layer crushed tortilla chips, cooked beef mixture, salsa, and shredded cheese.
Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes. Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and sour cream before serving.
Notes:
Feel free to add any other toppings you like, such as black olives, jalapeños, or avocado.
