grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, and cook until softened.
Add the sausage to the skillet and cook until browned. Break it up into small pieces as it cooks.
Stir in the marinara sauce and let it simmer for a few minutes.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, sausage mixture, 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, and half of the Parmesan cheese. Mix well.
Transfer the mixture to a baking dish. Top with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
Notes:
This casserole can be made ahead and refrigerated. Just bake it a bit longer if it's coming straight from the fridge.
