Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 6 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 0.5 cup butter, melted
  • 0.25 cup chopped green onions
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large pot, boil the potatoes until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain.
  • In a large bowl, combine the potatoes, sour cream, cheddar cheese, melted butter, green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  • Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.

Notes:

For a twist, try adding some crispy bacon bits on top before baking.
