Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Italian sausage sliced
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 can Diced tomatoes 14.5 oz
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • 2 cups Pasta uncooked
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until browned. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, sauté onion and garlic until softened.
  • Add diced tomatoes, chicken broth, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a simmer.
  • Stir in uncooked pasta and cooked sausage. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Transfer mixture to a baking dish. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  • Remove foil, sprinkle with mozzarella cheese, and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes:

Feel free to add your favorite vegetables to the casserole for extra flavor and nutrition.
