Salt and pepper
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until browned. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, sauté onion and garlic until softened.
Add diced tomatoes, chicken broth, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a simmer.
Stir in uncooked pasta and cooked sausage. Season with salt and pepper.
Transfer mixture to a baking dish. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
Remove foil, sprinkle with mozzarella cheese, and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes:
Feel free to add your favorite vegetables to the casserole for extra flavor and nutrition.
