Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup uncooked pasta
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  • Add the chopped onions and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the onions are translucent.
  • Stir in the diced tomatoes, beef broth, uncooked pasta, dried oregano, and dried basil. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish. Cover with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
  • Remove the foil, sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top, and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!

Notes:

This casserole can be made ahead of time and refrigerated. Just bake it when you're ready to eat.
