Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 6 large potatoes peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 0.5 cup cooked bacon crumbled
  • 0.25 cup chopped green onions
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions: 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Layer the sliced potatoes in a greased baking dish.
  • Pour the heavy cream over the potatoes.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  • Add the crumbled bacon and chopped green onions.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Bake for 45 minutes or until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown.

Notes:

For extra crispiness, broil the casserole for the last 5 minutes of baking.
