Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Layer the sliced potatoes in a greased baking dish.
Pour the heavy cream over the potatoes.
Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
Add the crumbled bacon and chopped green onions.
Season with salt and pepper.
Bake for 45 minutes or until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown.
Notes:
For extra crispiness, broil the casserole for the last 5 minutes of baking.
