Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Grease a baking dish with butter.
In a large bowl, mix grated potatoes, chopped onion, shredded cheese, milk, eggs, salt, and pepper.
Pour mixture into the baking dish.
Dot the top with butter.
Bake for 45 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
