Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 6 croissants day-old, torn into pieces
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a baking dish and place the torn croissant pieces in it.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  • Pour the mixture over the croissant pieces, making sure they are well coated.
  • Let it sit for about 10 minutes to allow the croissants to soak up the custard.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the custard is set.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
