Ingredients:

  • 4 cups celery, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped celery, heavy cream, grated cheddar cheese, salt, and black pepper.
  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  • In a small pan, melt the butter and mix in the breadcrumbs until they are well coated.
  • Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over the celery mixture in the baking dish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the casserole is bubbly.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes:

Feel free to add other vegetables like carrots or peas for extra flavor and nutrition.
