Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 12 oz spaghetti
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 jar spaghetti sauce 24 oz
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese

Instructions: 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Stir in spaghetti sauce and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  • In a large bowl, combine cooked spaghetti, beaten egg, and ricotta cheese. Mix well.
  • In a greased baking dish, layer half of the spaghetti mixture, followed by half of the meat sauce, and half of the mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers.
  • Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes:

Feel free to add vegetables like bell peppers or mushrooms for extra flavor.
