Ingredients:

  • 1 can Water Chestnuts drained and sliced
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 cup Crushed Cornflakes
  • 1/4 cup Melted Butter

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the water chestnuts, sour cream, and shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the crushed cornflakes with the melted butter.
  • Sprinkle the cornflake mixture evenly over the top of the casserole.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.

Notes:

Feel free to add some chopped green onions or bacon bits for extra flavor.
