ground beef
1
cup
ketchup
1
tbsp
Worcestershire sauce
1
tbsp
brown sugar
1
cup
shredded cheddar cheese
8
slices

Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
Add the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar to the skillet. Stir to combine and let simmer for 5 minutes.
Butter one side of each slice of bread. Place half of the bread, buttered side down, in a baking dish.
Spread the beef mixture evenly over the bread. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
Top with the remaining slices of bread, buttered side up.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes:
Feel free to add some diced onions or bell peppers to the beef mixture for extra flavor.
