Ingredients:

  • 2 cups macaroni uncooked
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cook the macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the milk, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
  • Add the cooked macaroni and 1.5 cups of shredded cheddar cheese to the saucepan. Stir until the cheese is melted and everything is well combined.
  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining 0.5 cup of shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!

Notes:

Feel free to add some cooked bacon or ham for extra flavor.
