Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Bring water to a boil in a large pot. Add salt and grits, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to low and cook until thickened, about 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in butter, milk, cheese, and jalapenos. Mix well.
Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish. Bake for 45 minutes or until golden brown on top.
Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes:
Feel free to adjust the amount of jalapenos to your taste.
