Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Grits quick-cooking
  • 4 cups Water
  • 2 cups Cheddar Cheese shredded
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 cup Jalapenos chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Bring water to a boil in a large pot. Add salt and grits, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to low and cook until thickened, about 5 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and stir in butter, milk, cheese, and jalapenos. Mix well.
  • Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish. Bake for 45 minutes or until golden brown on top.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes:

Feel free to adjust the amount of jalapenos to your taste.
