Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Cook the egg noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
3. In a large pot, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside, leaving the bacon fat in the pot.
4. Add the butter to the pot with the bacon fat. Once melted, add the chopped onion and cook until translucent.
5. Add the shredded cabbage to the pot and cook until tender, about 10-15 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. In a large bowl, combine the cooked noodles, cabbage mixture, and bacon. Mix well.
7. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until heated through and the top is slightly crispy.
8. Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes:
This dish is great for family dinners and can be made ahead of time.
