Ingredients:

  • 1 loaf French bread cut into cubes
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions: 

  • 1. Grease a baking dish and add the cubed French bread.
  • 2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, buttermilk, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt.
  • 3. Pour the mixture over the bread cubes, ensuring all pieces are soaked.
  • 4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  • 5. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the casserole for 45 minutes or until golden brown and set.
  • 6. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
