Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cook egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until onion is translucent.
Stir in tomato sauce, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
In a large bowl, combine cooked noodles, sour cream, and half of the shredded cheddar cheese.
Spread noodle mixture in a baking dish. Top with beef mixture and remaining cheese.
Bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Notes:
Feel free to add vegetables like bell peppers or mushrooms for extra flavor.
