Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 8 oz Egg Noodles
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 can Tomato Sauce (15 oz)
  • 1 cup Chopped Onion
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cook egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until onion is translucent.
  • Stir in tomato sauce, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  • In a large bowl, combine cooked noodles, sour cream, and half of the shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Spread noodle mixture in a baking dish. Top with beef mixture and remaining cheese.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.

Notes:

Feel free to add vegetables like bell peppers or mushrooms for extra flavor.
