Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 cup Onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 can Tomato Sauce (15 oz)
  • 2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • 1 package Egg Noodles (12 oz)
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cook the egg noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and cook until the onion is translucent.
  • Stir in the tomato sauce, salt, and black pepper. Let it simmer for about 10 minutes.
  • In a large bowl, combine the cooked egg noodles, sour cream, and half of the shredded cheddar cheese.
  • In a baking dish, layer half of the noodle mixture, then add the beef mixture, and top with the remaining noodle mixture.
  • Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Notes:

Feel free to add some vegetables like bell peppers or mushrooms for extra flavor and nutrition.
