Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cook the egg noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and cook until the onion is translucent.
Stir in the tomato sauce, salt, and black pepper. Let it simmer for about 10 minutes.
In a large bowl, combine the cooked egg noodles, sour cream, and half of the shredded cheddar cheese.
In a baking dish, layer half of the noodle mixture, then add the beef mixture, and top with the remaining noodle mixture.
Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheddar cheese on top.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Notes:
Feel free to add some vegetables like bell peppers or mushrooms for extra flavor and nutrition.
