Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 package frozen tater tots
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain the fat.
  • Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the onion is translucent.
  • Stir in the cream of mushroom soup. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Transfer the beef mixture to a baking dish. Top with an even layer of tater tots.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top. Bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes:

For a spicier kick, add some diced jalapeños to the beef mixture.
