Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 1 cup Uncooked rice
  • 1 packet Taco seasoning
  • 1 cup Shredded cheese
  • 1 can Diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
  • 1 cup Water

Instructions: 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Add taco seasoning, diced tomatoes, and water to the skillet. Stir and bring to a simmer.
  • In a baking dish, combine uncooked rice and the beef mixture. Mix well.
  • Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  • Remove the foil, sprinkle shredded cheese on top, and bake for an additional 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes:

Feel free to add your favorite taco toppings like sour cream, salsa, or guacamole.
