Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease a baking dish.
Place the toasted English muffin pieces in the bottom of the dish.
Spread the cooked sausage over the muffins.
In a mixing bowl, combine the beaten eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Pour over the sausage and muffins.
Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
Bake for 45 minutes or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.
Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes:
This casserole can be prepared the night before and baked in the morning.
