Ingredients:

  • 12 oz Elbow macaroni
  • 1 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup Grated Pecorino Romano cheese
  • 4 slices Bacon, diced
  • 4 Egg yolks
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Salt

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cook the macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a skillet, cook the diced bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the egg yolks, heavy cream, grated Parmesan, grated Pecorino Romano, salt, and black pepper.
  • Add the cooked macaroni and crispy bacon to the bowl. Mix well to combine.
  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the top is golden and bubbly.
  • Let it cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
