Ingredients:

  • 6 slices Bread preferably stale
  • 4 Eggs
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 1 cup Cheese shredded
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a baking dish.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  • Layer the bread slices in the baking dish.
  • Pour the egg mixture over the bread, making sure it's evenly soaked.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top.
  • Bake for 45 minutes or until the top is golden and the casserole is set.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes:

Feel free to add cooked bacon or vegetables for extra flavor.
