Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and cook until translucent.
Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Drain any excess fat.
Stir in the BBQ sauce and let it simmer for a few minutes.
Transfer the beef mixture to a baking dish. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer over the cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
