Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
In a large bowl, combine cooked beef, crumbled bacon, and diced potatoes.
In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour until smooth. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly until thickened. Add salt and pepper.
Pour sauce over beef mixture and stir to combine. Transfer to a baking dish.
Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until potatoes are tender and cheese is bubbly.
Notes:
For a spicier version, add some chopped jalapeños.
