Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 6 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 4 cups potatoes peeled and diced
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • In a large bowl, combine cooked beef, crumbled bacon, and diced potatoes.
  • In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour until smooth. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly until thickened. Add salt and pepper.
  • Pour sauce over beef mixture and stir to combine. Transfer to a baking dish.
  • Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until potatoes are tender and cheese is bubbly.

Notes:

For a spicier version, add some chopped jalapeños.
