Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the onion is translucent.
Stir in the chopped cabbage, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, uncooked rice, beef broth, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
Transfer the mixture to a baking dish. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes, or until the rice is cooked and the cabbage is tender.
Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes to let the top brown slightly.
Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
Notes:
This casserole is a great make-ahead meal. It reheats well and can be frozen for later.
