shredded mozzarella cheese

grated Parmesan cheese

onion
chopped

cloves
garlic
minced

dried basil

dried oregano
Salt and pepper
to taste
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
Add chopped onion and garlic to the skillet. Cook until onion is translucent.
Stir in marinara sauce, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked pasta and meat sauce. Mix well.
Transfer half of the pasta mixture to a 9x13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle with half of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
Add the remaining pasta mixture on top and sprinkle with the remaining cheese.
Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes:
Feel free to add your favorite veggies or use Italian sausage instead of ground beef for a different twist.
