Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups macaroni
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 6 hot dogs, sliced

Instructions: 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cook macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour, salt, and pepper until smooth. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly until thickened.
  • Remove from heat and stir in cheese until melted. Add cooked macaroni and sliced hot dogs, mixing well.
  • Pour mixture into a baking dish. Bake for 30 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown on top.

Notes:

Feel free to add some veggies like peas or broccoli for extra nutrition.
