Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Boil the yams in a large pot until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain and mash in a mixing bowl.
Mix in the brown sugar, melted butter, cinnamon, and nutmeg until well combined.
Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread evenly. Top with mini marshmallows.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the marshmallows are golden brown.
Notes:
For an extra crunch, add chopped pecans on top before baking.
