Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 500 g Calamari, cleaned and cut into rings
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups Marinara sauce
  • 1 tsp Dried oregano
  • 1 tsp Dried basil
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, dried oregano, and dried basil.
  • Season the calamari rings with salt and pepper, then coat them in the breadcrumb mixture.
  • Grease a baking dish with olive oil and spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom.
  • Place the coated calamari rings in the baking dish and cover with the remaining marinara sauce.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until the calamari is cooked through and the top is golden brown.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!

Notes:

Feel free to add some chopped fresh parsley on top for garnish.
