Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Asparagus trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese shredded
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 tbsp Butter melted
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine asparagus, cheddar cheese, milk, melted butter, salt, and pepper.
  • Pour mixture into a baking dish and top with breadcrumbs.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the casserole is bubbly.
  • Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes:

This casserole is great as a side dish or a main course. Feel free to add cooked chicken or bacon for extra protein.
