Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine asparagus, cheddar cheese, milk, melted butter, salt, and pepper.
Pour mixture into a baking dish and top with breadcrumbs.
Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the casserole is bubbly.
Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
