Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 4 matzos
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted

Instructions: 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Break matzos into small pieces and soak in warm water for a few minutes. Drain well.
  • In a large bowl, beat eggs and mix in milk, sugar, salt, and cinnamon.
  • Add drained matzo pieces to the egg mixture and stir to combine.
  • Pour melted butter into a baking dish, then add the matzo mixture.
  • Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.

Notes:

Serve warm with a dollop of sour cream or applesauce if desired.
