Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 4 cups Leeks, sliced
  • 2 cups Potatoes, diced
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large pan, melt the butter and sauté the leeks until soft.
  • Add the potatoes and cook for another 5 minutes.
  • Stir in the milk, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes, until the top is golden and bubbly.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes:

For a creamier texture, you can add a bit of heavy cream to the mixture before baking.
