Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Italian sausage casings removed
  • 1 package cheese tortellini about 20 oz
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a skillet, cook the Italian sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  • Cook the tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, combine the cooked sausage, tortellini, marinara sauce, 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese, and 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese. Mix well.
  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish. Top with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Sprinkle with dried basil and oregano.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!

This casserole is perfect for a cozy family dinner. Feel free to add some veggies like spinach or bell peppers for extra flavor and nutrition.
