Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 head Cabbage chopped
  • 1 can Tomato Sauce (15 oz)
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese shredded
  • 1 medium Onion diced
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Add diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until softened.
  • Stir in tomato sauce, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  • In a baking dish, layer half of the chopped cabbage, then the beef mixture, and top with the remaining cabbage.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  • Remove foil, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top, and bake for an additional 15 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

This casserole is perfect for a cozy family dinner.
