Ingredients:

  • 6 slices bread cubed
  • 1 lb sausage cooked and crumbled
  • 2 cups shredded cheese cheddar or your choice
  • 6 eggs beaten
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  • In a greased baking dish, layer the bread cubes, sausage, and cheese.
  • Pour the egg mixture over the layers in the baking dish.
  • Bake for 45 minutes or until the top is golden and the casserole is set.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes:

Feel free to add veggies like bell peppers or spinach for extra flavor and nutrition.
