Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 head Cabbage large, leaves separated
  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 1 cup Onion chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 cups Tomato sauce
  • 2 cups Mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, cook until softened.
  • Stir in tomato sauce, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  • In a baking dish, layer cabbage leaves, meat sauce, and cheeses. Repeat layers, ending with cheese on top.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes, until bubbly and golden.
  • Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes:

This dish is a great low-carb alternative to traditional lasagna.
