Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 4 bratwurst sausages
  • 3 cups potatoes, diced
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a baking dish, layer the diced potatoes and chopped onions.
  • Place the bratwurst sausages on top of the vegetables.
  • In a saucepan, melt the butter and mix in the milk. Pour this mixture over the sausages and vegetables.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Notes:

Feel free to add other vegetables like bell peppers or mushrooms for extra flavor.
