Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, beans)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup grated cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs

Instructions: 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Steam or boil the mixed vegetables until tender.
  • In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  • Gradually add milk, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens.
  • Add grated cheese, salt, and pepper. Stir until cheese melts.
  • Combine the vegetables with the cheese sauce and transfer to a baking dish.
  • Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until the top is golden brown.

Notes:

Feel free to use any vegetables you like or have on hand.
