Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Fresh spinach washed and chopped
  • 4 Large eggs separated
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 tsp Nutmeg ground
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk the egg yolks until smooth. Add the milk, Parmesan cheese, nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  • In another bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
  • Fold the chopped spinach into the egg yolk mixture. Then gently fold in the beaten egg whites until just combined.
  • Pour the mixture into a greased casserole dish and bake for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden and the center is set.
  • Let it cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!

Notes:

For a richer flavor, you can add a handful of grated cheddar cheese to the mixture.
