Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 4 cups Potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup Onion, chopped
  • 2 cups Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • 1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 1 cup Milk
  • to taste Salt and Pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a skillet, cook ground beef and onion until beef is browned. Drain excess fat.
  • In a bowl, mix cream of mushroom soup and milk. Set aside.
  • In a baking dish, layer half of the potatoes, then half of the meat mixture, and half of the soup mixture. Repeat layers.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour. Uncover, sprinkle cheese on top, and bake for an additional 10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.

Notes:

Let the casserole rest for a few minutes before serving.
