Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Pasta cooked
  • 1 cup Cottage Cheese
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 cup Chopped Onions sauteed
  • 1 tbsp Butter melted
  • to taste Salt and Pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked pasta, cottage cheese, sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, and sauteed onions.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and drizzle melted butter on top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes:

This lazy pierogi casserole is perfect for a quick weeknight dinner. You can also add some cooked bacon or ham for extra flavor.
