Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Potatoes peeled and cubed
  • 1/2 cup Heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup Butter melted
  • 2 large Egg yolks beaten
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Nutmeg ground

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15 minutes.
  • Drain the potatoes and mash them in a mixing bowl.
  • Mix in the heavy cream, melted butter, beaten egg yolks, salt, pepper, and nutmeg until smooth.
  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown on top.

Notes:

For an extra crispy top, you can broil the casserole for the last 5 minutes of baking.
